From 9am to 4pm, Camp Chris is a whirlwind of activity, learning, and friendship.  Campers participate in a variety of engaging activities, from games and swimming to arts and crafts.  In every interaction and experience, our core values are woven into the fabric of camp life. Camp Chris offers kids ages 4-15 a summer full of hands-on, engaging activities that will keep them returning year after year!

Parents, let us take some of the stress away from planning amazing summers for your kids!  Our programs grow with your camper- try our Program Finder to discover new programs that your child will love!  We know life in the summer can be hectic- so we offer add ons to your camp experience like lunch, buses, extended day, tutoring and music lessons!  Register your campers for as many weeks as needed around your family’s schedule.

As a parent, you can expect a lot from Camp Chris.  We are dedicated to providing a positive and enriching experience for your child.  Here are some of the things you can expect from us this coming summer:

Safety is a top priority at Camp Chris.  You can expect a well-organized and supervised environment where trained staff members ensure your child’s well-being.  Camp Chris follows safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure space for all campers.

Camp Chris prides itself on having a team of experienced and caring counselors who are dedicated to the well-being and growth of your child.  They provide mentorship, guidance, and support throughout the camp experience.

Camp Chris offers a variety of activities and programs designed to help campers develop new skills.  From outdoor exploration, swimming, and creative endeavors like arts and crafts, your child will have the opportunity to explore their interests and talents.

Camp Chris is a place where your child can build self-confidence, make new friends, and develop important social skills.  The camp encourages teamwork, communication, and problem solving in a group setting.

Camp Chris offers a wide range of fun and memorable activities, including games, arts and crafts, archery, swimming, and more . Each age group opens up new opportunities, growing with your child for as many summers as they return.  Our youngest campers have daily swim lessons, and our oldest campers go on weekly field trips - there really is something for everyone here!

Most camps, including Camp Chris, maintain open lines of communication with parents.  We send out emails in advance of each session with a detailed breakdown of what theme weeks we have planned, as well as invaluable information about what to pack, counselor information, and nurse information.  During camp we update families as needed, and reach out individually to caregivers to make sure their child is having the best experience possible.  We update our social media accounts daily, showing amazing pictures of kids having fun, and also share images on our SmugMug page.

Camp Chris is a place where your child can gain a sense of independence and self-reliance.  They will have the opportunity to make decisions, take on age-appropriate responsibilities, and grow as an individual.

We focus on connection, and encourage campers to engage in the world around them.  This means less reliance on technology and screens, and finding ways to encourage campers to be involved in their camp group - their own little organic community.
