For campers entering PreK, who have turned 4 before their camp week

At Lower Camp (PreK), we believe in igniting the spark of curiosity in the hearts of our youngest adventurers.  Our Chipmunks program is a place where kids entering PreK take their first steps toward discovery, learning, and friendship.  It’s an extraordinary summer adventure tailored just for them.

A Safe and Supportive Environment:  Safety and comfort are our top priorities.  Chipmunks provides a safe and nurturing environment where our dedicated staff ensures your child’s well being is always in focus.  From trained counselors to carefully planned activities, we’ve got the little ones covered.

Daily Swim Lessons: All Chipmunks will have a daily swim lesson, provided by our partner, North Shore Swim Club, whose experienced instructors create a supportive and encouraging environment, making learning to swim a positive experience.  All swim lessons take place in our state-of-the-art indoor pool.

Early Learning and Fun: Our camp is where your child takes their first steps in building valuable social and emotional skills.  Through play, interaction, and group activities, they’ll learn about friendship, teamwork, and effective communication while building self-confidence.  

Outdoor Adventures: Nature is our classroom, and outdoor adventures are at the heart of our camp.  Your child will have the opportunity to experience the wonders of the natural world through activities like short nature hikes, picnics, and hands-on science experiments.  

Play and Imagination: Play is a child’s work, and we take it seriously!  Chipmunks offers a wide range of play-based activities that stimulate the imagination and foster creativity.  It’s a place where building sandcastles, pretending to be pirates, and playing dress up are all part of the daily routine.

Varied Activities:  Chipmunks will have so many things to do each day, including activities such as daily swim lessons, free swim, music, art, dramatic play, bouncies/Tumbl Trak, Creation Stations, sports, all cohort and all camp special events, and more!*  

Confidence and Independence: We believe in empowering your child to take on responsibilities, make choices, and gain independence.  Chipmunks is where they take those first steps toward self-sufficiency and self-discovery.

What to Pack in Your Backpack:

• Refillable water bottle
• Nut free lunch and snack
• Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes (goggles optional)
• Sunscreen – applied before coming and reapplied frequently (bug spray optional)
• Please label all belongings with a first and last name
