Tutoring Services

Summer Tutoring Services

Dates: June 17 - August 16, 2024 (Tuesday-Friday)
Grades: For students entering grades 3-9
Instructors: Ms. Jodi Cirone & Ms. Victoria Crisp

Goal: To offer a high-end academic development program that allows students to better understand and learn subject material; to help students achieve their personal academic goals by preparing them for upcoming classes/programs, and to help students become independent learners.

The summer is a great time for kids to relax and unwind, but sometimes the stability and routine that school provides is lost.  Summer tutoring at Summer at St. John's allows students to better understand and learn subject material, helps  students achieve their personal academic goals by preparing them for the upcoming school year, and to help students to increasingly become independent learners.

To help provide a balance of fun and academic learning Summer at St. John's is teaming up two amazing, experienced tutors to provide on site or remote instruction catered to your child.  Sessions are typically 45 minutes long, and take place in a 1-1 format on campus, or can be arranged to be conducted via Zoom.  Tutors will create an individualized plan for each student based on needs identified by each family.  Students will be picked up from the camp program by the tutor, and instruction will take place in a quiet corner of campus.  Campers will be returned to the program upon completion of the tutoring session.

Registration
Families should register for tutoring through our registration system, and then our tutors will reach out to discuss offerings and schedules.  Beyond the $50 registration fee, all payments are arranged directly through the tutor.  Tutoring services are designed to be a pull out service.   This may mean that your child misses certain camp activities, but we guarantee kids will never lose access to the pool.
