Summer Academic Development Program
Our Goal: To transform summer from a break in learning into an opportunity for accelerated academic growth and the development of independent learning skills.
We understand that while summer is a time for relaxation, the structured routine of the school year can be lost. Our high-end academic development program provides the necessary stability and focus to ensure students:
-
-
- Deepen their understanding of core subject material.
- Achieve their personal academic goals by preparing them for upcoming classes and programs.
- Become confident, independent learners ready for the next level.
-
Program Logistics
To offer a perfect balance of fun and academic learning, Summer at St. John's has partnered with two amazing, experienced tutors to provide individualized instruction.
-
-
- Format: Personalized 1-on-1 sessions.
- Duration: Typically 30 minutes per session.
- Location: Instruction is offered on-site at a quiet campus location.
- Customization: Tutors create an individualized learning plan based on needs identified in collaboration with the family.
- Process: Campers will be picked up directly from their summer camp group by camp staff and returned promptly upon completion of the session.
-
Tutoring is designed as a pull-out service, which means the 30-minute session may occasionally overlap with a specific camp activity. We are committed to ensuring that your child will not miss any pool access due to tutoring.
Registration
Families should register for tutoring through CampBrain. Our tutors will then contact you directly to discuss offerings, create an individualized learning plan, and finalize a schedule.
-
-
- Registration Fee: A $55 fee is paid during the initial online registration.
- Payment for Sessions: All subsequent payments for tutoring sessions are arranged directly with your assigned tutor.
-
