Lower Camp at Camp Chris is a special place where campers entering kindergarten and first grade embark on a journey of exploration, growth, and fun. Designed to meet the unique needs of our youngest adventurers, Lower Camp fosters a safe, nurturing environment where magic happens daily.

Lower Camp Highlights:

• 1:8 Counselor-to-Camper Ratio: Small groups ensure personalized attention and care in our small mixed-gender groups that promote collaboration and friendship.
• Safe and Supportive Environment: Our trained counselors prioritize each child’s well-being, ensuring a secure and caring space.
• Daily Swim Lessons: Campers enjoy daily lessons in our state-of-the-art pool, guided by North Shore Swim Club instructors.
• Outdoor Adventures: Campers explore nature, enjoy picnic lunches, and participate in outdoor games across our beautiful campus.
• Varied Activities: Each day includes swim lessons, music, art, sports, Tumbl Trak, special events, and more! Skilled staff lead engaging, age-appropriate activities designed to inspire and challenge.
• Friendship and Teamwork: Campers form bonds, learn teamwork, and build important social skills through group activities and play.
• Creative Expression: Arts and imaginative play allow campers to express themselves and make lasting memories.
• Building Confidence: Campers gain independence, make decisions, and grow as individuals in a supportive environment.
• Camp Store Visits: Campers can enjoy special trips to the Camp Store for camp essentials and fun treats.

What to Pack in Your Backpack:

• Refillable water bottle

• Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes
• Sunscreen – applied before coming and reapplied frequently
