A Camp for Young City Planners, Designers, and Problem-Solvers for kids entering grades 4 and 5.

Join our innovative Urban Planning Adventures workshop designed for grades 3-5 students to explore the fascinating world of city design through Minecraft! In this engaging program, your child will discover how the spaces around us shape our daily lives while creating their very own virtual cities. Students will learn about Urban Planning as both an exciting career field and essential discipline, exploring how different community designs affect transportation choices and neighborhood connections—discovering whether people drive everywhere or can walk to nearby destinations. Through hands-on building projects and collaborative group activities, children will design diverse cityscapes, tackle real-world planning challenges like creating transportation systems and public spaces, and bring their urban visions to life. The perfect introduction to community planning that encourages both creative problem-solving and a deeper understanding of how our built environment influences the way we live, work, and play!

This program is run by Vineyard App Camp and is a full-day program.  Please Note: Full-Day Exploration Camps do not include scheduled pool time due to the structure and schedule of our vendor partners’ programming.
