For more than 70 years, Camp Chris has been a place where summer means friendship, adventure, discovery, and belonging.
From a camper's first experience as a Chipmunk or Chickadee to the independence of Senior Camp and leadership opportunities of LIT, Camp Chris is designed to grow with your child.
Every week brings swimming, sports, creativity, exploration, special events, and plenty of classic camp fun - all supported by caring staff who make sure campers feel welcomed, known, and excited to come back tomorrow.

Week 1: Beach Bash
June 21 - June 25, 2027
Kick off summer with Beach Bash! Campers will enjoy beach-inspired games, creative activities, swimming, and plenty of summer fun throughout the week.
Senior Campers will shake things up with a special Wacky Wednesday, featuring a different lineup of activities while still making time for the pool.
On Friday, we’ll bring Camp Chris together for a beach-themed party with music, games, and shaved ice!
Week 2: Holiday havoc
June 28 - July 1, 2027
Why celebrate one holiday when you can celebrate four? Campers will experience St. Patrick’s Day, Holi, Halloween, and Christmas through themed games, activities, crafts, and surprises.
Senior Campers can also opt into a Wednesday trip to Canobie Lake Park.
Want a fifth day? Register separately for Party in the USA! on Friday, July 2 for another full day of Camp Chris fun.
Friday, July 2 requires separate registration.
Week 2: Party in the usa!
Friday July 2, 2027
Celebrate the Fourth of July a little early with a full day of red, white, and blue Camp Chris fun!
Campers will enjoy a hot dog cookout, bounce houses, pool party, themed games, arts and crafts, and more during this special one-day camp.
Whether you need an extra day of camp or your camper just wants more summer fun, Party in the USA! is the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend.
Week 3: dino mania
July 6 - July 9, 2027*
Travel back in time for Dino Mania! Campers will dig into prehistoric games, creative projects, dino challenges, and hands-on activities during this special four-day week.
We’re also planning a larger-than-life inflatable dinosaur show, bringing prehistoric creatures to Camp Chris for a memorable special event!
Senior Campers will shake things up with a special Wacky Wednesday, featuring a different lineup of activities while still making time for the pool.
Campus is closed Monday July 5, 2027.
Week 4: Global exploration
July 12 - July 16, 2027
Grab your imaginary passport and get ready to explore! Campers will discover countries and cultures from around the world through themed games, creative activities, music, and hands-on experiences.
The week culminates with our Festival of Nations, where campers will travel around campus experiencing activities, traditions, and fun inspired by different parts of the globe.
Senior Campers can also opt into a Wednesday beach trip, while those staying on campus continue the Global Exploration adventure
Week 5: Battle of the bands
July 19 - July 23, 2027
Turn up the volume! Campers will enjoy music-inspired games, creative projects, challenges, and performances as Camp Chris gets into the rhythm for Battle of the Bands.
Senior Campers can also opt into a Wednesday trip to Jay Gee’s, while those staying on campus continue the musical fun.
On Friday, groups will take the stage for our Camp Chris Lip Sync Battle, bringing the week to an energetic finale.
Week 6: storybook spectacular
July 26 - july 30, 2027
Step into the story! Campers will explore the worlds of books, fairy tales, superheroes, mysteries, and favorite characters through imaginative games, creative projects, and themed adventures.
Pre-K, Lower, and Middle Campers will enjoy a visit from Big Joe the Storyteller, while Upper and Senior Campers will experience a special magician’s show.
Senior Campers will also shake things up with a special Wacky Wednesday, featuring a different lineup of activities while still making time for the pool.
Week 7: curious creatures
August 2 - august 6, 2027
Get ready to go wild! Campers will explore the animal kingdom through themed games, creative projects, challenges, and plenty of creature-inspired fun.
Our special guests this week have four legs! Campers will enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo, with opportunities to meet and interact with a variety of animals.
Senior Campers will also shake things up with a special Wacky Wednesday, featuring a different lineup of activities while still making time for the pool.
Week 8: treasure island
August 9 - august 13, 2027
Ahoy, campers! Set sail for a week of pirates, hidden treasure, daring challenges, and high-seas adventures as Camp Chris transforms into Treasure Island.
Pre-K, Lower, and Middle Campers will enjoy pirate-themed tales with Big Joe the Storyteller, while Upper and Senior Campers will welcome some real pirates to campus for an interactive experience.
Senior Campers can also opt into a Wednesday party boat excursion, while those staying on campus continue their Treasure Island adventure.
Week 9: summer carnival
August 16 - august 20, 2027
Step right up for one final week of Camp Chris fun! Campers will celebrate summer with carnival games, creative activities, exciting attractions, and plenty of surprises.
The week features a packed lineup of special events, including the Flying High Dogs, inflatables, carnival games, and Touch-A-Truck with vehicles from Danvers emergency services and the Department of Public Works.
Senior Campers will also enjoy one final Wacky Wednesday, featuring a different lineup of activities while still making time for the pool.
