For campers entering Grades 6-9

Looking for something new for your child?  The New England Fishing Academy is perfect for any child who loves the outdoors and fishing or who expresses an interest in wanting to learn and try it out. They will not only have a great time, but they will learn  from professional educators who are experts in coaching and teaching children. We educate, develop and give the confidence that every child needs to enjoy the great outdoors!

New England Fishing Academy provides young people between the ages of 8 and 16 with the opportunity to gain a greater love and appreciation for the outdoors through a unique and hands-on fishing experience. We are in a variety of locations including but not limited to Boston, Cambridge, Concord and Groton,  MA.  We have options for everyone! From the novice to the expert, your child will have a genuinely memorable summer with us.

Fierce rivals and competitors as varsity high school baseball coaches in the greater Boston area for over twenty years, we finally decided to put our differences aside and focus on our shared passions – education, the outdoors and fishing.  Hence, we began the New England Fishing Academy with the goal of inspiring a younger generation to develop a life-long love and appreciation for fishing and conservation.   Cell phones, social media, video games and other forms of technology have consumed the lives of this generation.  We feel that the outdoors provides a healthy reprieve from screens and encourages young people to gain a greater appreciation for living in the present.

What to Pack in Your Backpack:

• Refillable water bottle
• Nut free lunch and snack
• Light layer as the A/C will be on in buildings
• Sunscreen – applied before coming and reapplied frequently
• Please label all belongings with a first and last name
