Students Entering Grades 5-9

Daytrippers is the perfect adventure-packed experience for campers looking to soak in the joy of outdoor exploration and awesome daily field trips.  This camp is designed for those who seek a day filled with exciting activities, learning, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.  Let us take the stress of booking and waiting in line away from you – in a few easy clicks your camper will be on their way to a memorable summer experience!

We robustly staff this program with at least 2 counselors per each group of 12 campers. If registration surpasses 12 campers, we add 2 additional counselors for every 6 campers beyond the initial group of 12.  All of our trips are run in partnership with organizations that are subject to an extensive vetting process by Summer at St. John’s. Any partner that we work with are ensured to be well staffed with program experts, and we only work with the very best aquatic based organizations, such as Cape Ann SUP and Plum Island Kayaking.  

Some Important Notes About Daytrippers:

• Full-day (9am – 4pm) program open to boys and girls entering grades 5-9.  
• Daily programming is off campus each day – late arrival may result in missing the scheduled trip.  Early dismissal will not be accommodated.  
• Camp lunch is not an option for this camp, all campers will be required to come to camp prepared for a full day away from campus.  
• Vehicles owned by St. John’s Prep, driven by trained and certified tripping staff.

Please note: each organization we work with may require caregivers to sign a waiver for their child to participate.  This information will be provided to families closer to the week of programming.

What to Pack in Your Backpack:

• Refillable water bottle
• Nut free lunch and snack
• Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes (goggles optional)
• Sunscreen – applied before coming and reapplied frequently (bug spray optional)
• Please label all belongings with a first and last name
