Eagles Sports Camp proudly presents Baseball Camp – a grand slam opportunity for young athletes to immerse themselves in the timeless game of baseball.  Whether your camper is a rookie or a seasoned player, our camp is designed to enhance skills, foster teamwork, and ignite a lifelong passion for the sport.

Here’s what you can expect from the Eagles Baseball Camp:

Fundamental Skill Development: Led by St. John’s Prep Varsity Baseball Coach, Danny Letarte, our Baseball Camp focuses on refining fundamental skills such as hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running.  Campers receive personalized attention to improve technique and build a solid foundation in the game.

Position-Specific Training: As campers progress, they delve into position-specific training.  Whether they aspire to be a power hitter, a skilled infielder, or a strategic picther, our camp tailors instruction to each camper’s position of interest. 

Pitching and Catching Clinics: Our camp includes specialized workshops for pitchers and catchers, where experienced instructors provide in-depth training to improve techniques, accuracy, and overall performance. 

Situational Drills: Baseball is a strategic game.  Campers engage in situational drills, learning how to respond effectively in various game scenarios.  This strategic focus enhances their overall understanding of the sport.

Fitness and Agility Workouts: Baseball demands agility, speed, and endurance.  Our camp incorporates fitness routines and agility drills to ensure that campers not only excel in the game but also maintain optimal physical fitness.

Game Strategy Sessions: Understanding the nuances of baseball strategy is crucial.  Campers participate in game strategy sessions, learning about plays, tactics, and teamwork to elevate their overall baseball IQ.

What to Pack in Your Backpack:

• Refillable water bottle
• Nut free lunch and snack
• Baseball equipment – gloves, bats, helmets
• Outdoor sports attire – clothes you are comfortable in.
• Sunscreen
• Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes if in the Stay and Play program
• Please label all belongings with a first and last name

Need the program to run until 4pm?  Add our MultiSport Stay and Play option at registration.  Camper athletes will have the opportunity to choose their own adventure each afternoon – we open up the pool for recreation swim, the Field House for pick up games, or the turf fields for other games and activities.  We encourage camper athletes to tell us what they are interested in so we can shape a program around them that changes every day, let alone every week!  Please note – this is NOT an extended coaching program.

• MultiSport Stay and Play is only available on days that Eagles Sports Clinics run.  If your chosen clinic has a rain day, the MultiSport Stay and Play moves the make-up day.
