Eagles Sports Camp is thrilled to present our Softball Camp – a fantastic opportunity for aspiring softball players to immerse themselves in the excitement and skill-building that softball offers.  Whether your camper is a beginner, or already swinging for the fences, our clinic is designed to enhance their abilities, foster teamwork, and deepen their love for the game.

Here’s what you can expect from the Eagles Softball Camp:

Fundamental Skill Development: Led by Coach Danny Letarte, Softball Camp focuses on refining fundamental skills such as hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running.  Campers receive personalized attention to enhance their technique and build a strong foundation in the sport.

Position-Specific Training: As campers progress, they have the opportunity to delve into position-specific training.  Whether they aspire to be a power hitter, a reliable fielder, or a skilled picther, our clinic tailors instruction to each camper’s position of interest.  

Pitching and Catching Workshops: Our camp includes specialized workshops for pitchers and catchers, where experienced instructors provide in-depth training to improve techniques, accuracy, and overall performance. 

Situational Drills: Softball is a game of strategy.  Campers engage in situational drills, learning how to respond effectively in various game scenarios.  This strategic focus enhances their overall understanding of the sport.

Fitness and Agility: Softball requires agility, speed, and endurance.  Our camp incorporates fitness routines and agility drills to ensure that campers not only excel in the game but also maintain optimal physical fitness.

Game Strategy Sessions: Understanding the softball strategy is crucial.  Campers participate in game strategy sessions, learning about plays, tactics, and decision-making to enhance their overall softball IQ.

What to Pack in Your Backpack:

• Refillable water bottle
• Nut free lunch and snack
• Softball equipment – gloves, bats, helmets
• Outdoor sports attire – clothes you are comfortable in.
• Sunscreen
• Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes if in the Stay and Play program
• Please label all belongings with a first and last name

Need the program to run until 4pm?  Add our MultiSport Stay and Play option at registration.  Camper athletes will have the opportunity to choose their own adventure each afternoon – we open up the pool for recreation swim, the Field House for pick up games, or the turf fields for other games and activities.  We encourage camper athletes to tell us what they are interested in so we can shape a program around them that changes every day, let alone every week!  Please note – this is NOT an extended coaching program.

• MultiSport Stay and Play is only available on days that Eagles Sports Clinics run.  If your chosen clinic has a rain day, the MultiSport Stay and Play moves the make-up day.
