High School Leadership Training

Grades: 9+ | Location: St. John’s Prep, Danvers, MA

The Leader-in-Training (LIT) Program prepares high school students for leadership through real-world experience and mentorship as part of our Camp Chris team. LITs work with counselors, lead activities, and receive feedback from seasoned staff to build communication, teamwork, and confidence.

Program Options:

• LIT 1 (Age 14+, entering grade 9) – Two-week cohort model combining training and direct leadership experience.
  • Cohort 1: June 23–July 3 (no camp July 4)
  • Cohort 2: July 7–July 18
  • Cohort 3: July 21–August 1
• LIT 2 (Grade 10+) – Greater independence and responsibility. Available for weekly registration starting Week 2.
  • All LIT 2 candidates are required to have completed one cohort of LIT 1 with either Summer at St. John’s or a similar camp program.
  • When registering for LIT 2, all candidates will be placed on a waitlist and contacted directly by Jackson Tingle, Director of Summer Programming, to confirm qualifications and finalize the application.
