College Interview Building

Build strong interview skills in a relaxed and supportive setting with Ms. My Doan from the School Counseling department. This workshop focuses on the critical skills students need to succeed in college admissions interviews and beyond. Students will learn how to effectively prepare, clearly communicate, and present themselves with confidence and authenticity.

Students will gain practical interview essentials such as appropriate dress, positive body language, clear and professional speaking, responding to common and challenging questions, and genuinely presenting their interests and experiences. These skills apply not only to college interviews, but also to future job and internship interviews.

The workshop also includes a resume component, reinforcing how interviews and resumes work together. Students will learn how to create a clear, interview-ready resume that can be used for college applications, shared with teachers for recommendation letters, and adapted for future opportunities.

All students are required to bring their own laptops to work on during the workshop.
