How does summer camp benefit children? 💭

I mean... the reasons are endless... but here’s a few:

They gain independence and confidence as they try new things, build resilience through challenges, and discover their own strengths.

Boston Area Kids Fishing Camp (Grades 6–9) at Summer At St. John’s - 2026!

In partnership with North East Anglers Summer Camp, this program is perfect for campers who:

✔️ Love being outdoors
✔️ Are curious about fishing
✔️ Want to try something hands-on, adventurous, and new

Campers will learn alongside professional outdoor educators who specialize in teaching kids. From casting techniques to reading the water — we’ll help campers build skills, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoor world.

🌲🌊 Locations across the Boston area, including Boston, Cambridge, Concord & Groton — with options for beginners and seasoned young anglers. Whether your child is trying fishing for the first time or already knows their favorite lure… this camp delivers an unforgettable summer experience.

From basketball to soccer to flag football and more, campers try new sports, build skills, and learn the power of teamwork — all in a fun, coed environment.

We now offer age-based groups to make sure everyone is challenged and supported:

Grades 2–3 → Trailblazers (playful skill-building)
Grades 4–5 → Pathfinders (strategy + teamwork)
Grades 6–8 → Highlanders (leadership + advanced play)

Every week brings new themes, new games, and new victories — on and off the field.
