Weโ€™re officially hiring for Summer 2026 at Summer at St. Johnโ€™s โ€” and this is much more than just a job. Itโ€™s a chance to make an impact, build skills, and spend your summer in a fun, high-energy environment surrounded by kids and community. Counselor roles are our biggest need, with opportunities for: ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ (16+ by June 1, 2026) ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ (17+ by June 1, 2026) ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ (18+ by June 1, 2026; leadership & group management roles) *All counselor roles support camper supervision and help create safe, engaging, unforgettable camp days. **Senior Counselors receive additional training and take on leadership responsibilities. A camp favorite: โ™Ÿ๏ธ Chess - The Road To Grandmaste A camp favorite: โ™Ÿ๏ธ Chess - The Road To Grandmaster! at Exploration Camps. ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ค๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ: Week 2: (June 22-26) for grades 4-5 ๐š๐ง๐ Week 5: (July 13-17) for grades 2-3 Campers build skills from the ground up โ€” learning openings, strategy, and smart decision-making through guided play. We meet campers where they are, whether theyโ€™re brand new or ready to level up, and help them grow their confidence and love for the game.
