FAQs

Do I need new working papers every year?

No. As long as you worked with us the previous year, and we have your working papers on file, you do not need a new set of working papers every year.

Do I need my doctor’s signature?

No. You do not need your doctor’s signature as you are older than 15 years of age.

Do I need working papers if I had them at another job?

Yes. Working papers are job-specific. If you held a job with another employer and submitted your working papers to meet their requirements, they are not acceptable for your position with Summer at St. John’s.

What if I go to a private, independent, or parochial school?

If you go to a private, independent, or parochial school, you must go the superintendent’s office in the town or city where you live and get their approval. Do not bring them to the school you attend, St. John’s Prep for example, as they cannot legally issue the required working papers.
